Wilmington Charter's point guard, the fleet of foot Morgan Slovin.

Charter's big presence underneath, Kayla Stitz.  Neasa King of Concord High fronts Kayla.

Northeast High's star junior, Candice Fritz.

Katie Ferguson, a 5' 11" senior for Northeast, readies herself in the free-throw blocks.

Super soph, Olivia Peeeke, looks for the pass from one of her Sanford teammates.  Coach Thompson has been giving more and more minutes lately to Peeke, and deservedly so.

Allison Kenney of Sanford.  This gifted junior can play every position but point (and I've even seen her do that in an AAU game!).  Allie's a natural post player, but has mastered swinging out and popping a three.

Padua point guard, Kelly Johnson, suffers through a nasty hamstring pull.

Caravel had an up-and-down tournament.  Their second game was a very nice win over Franklin County High School (from Tennessee) by a score of 67 - 52.  In this picture from that game, a Franklin County player forces a chunk of her jersey into Brady Rollins' right hand.  Brady's face shows her indignity for the Tennesseean's dubious tactic.

I'm not sure who this unidentified flying object is, but my best guess would be Caravel's Alexus Gillans.  Anyone feel free to correct!

Speaking of unidentified players, here's one waiting to check in for Franklin County.

Sophomore Caravelian, Liz Wise dares the ballhandler to advance.  Wise had a nice tournament and compliments the other forwards on the team quite well.

Maybe my best picture from the entire tournament.  From the Wilmington Charter / McKean game (which McKean won, 46 - 35).  Kayla Stitz may wear a mask, but there's no hiding her formidable skills - at either end of the court.  In this game, Stitz would score 9 points - all on three-point shots!
