The Player to End All Players (...well, at least for this tournament) was Andrea Hines, seen here holding the ball. St. Mark's Devon Arcieri defends.
Briana Goodge takes it hard to the basket for the Spartans.
Paige Davis with the tough angle shot over defender Allison Zimny.
St. E's Courtney Migliocco (#44) "makes herself big" as she defends the St. Mark's ballhandler.
Tori Casper's history is mostly as a point & shooting guard. However, with the addition of some new-found height and muscles, she only makes herself more valuable to the Viking program. Now, she can go in just about anywhere on the court and be a plus.
A Battle for the Ball featuring, left to right, Lisa Centrone, K. Fauntleroy, and Briana Goodge.
Paige Davis shows some elevation on this three-point attempt.
Panda Lauren Brooking handling the inbounding duties. Lauren is a great 2-guard for Padua who can nail the long-range jumpers.
Ursuline's Caly Wendel bringing it up the court. It seems these days that Caly is used more in the frontcourt as she looks to go about 5' 8" or 5' 9", but she is no stranger to the dribble drive having logged extensive hours at point for Immaculate Heart of Mary in her CYM days.
UA's Candace Galentine with the left-side layup. Teammate Rachel Samples (#25) covers weak side for the rebound.
Kayla Costello (#32) and Rachel Samples (#25) in the blocks.
Tianna Wagner winds up for a three-point attempt. As you can see, she has plenty of company! Tianna's coach, Dennis Leizear, looks on in the background.
Ursuline's Fiona Curtis getting ready with the overhead inbound pass.

*** The purpose of this page, like the rest of this site, is to promote girls basketball in the State of Delaware. This is hard to do if individual players cannot be singled out. However, I will honor all requests by players or parents to remove their/their daughters' names and/or images from this review. I will also gladly correct any misspelled names, or add names where now I list only a player uniform number. Just email me. *** DelGirlsHoops@aol.comJim Charles |
