Ignite Your Game Tournament April 12 & 13, 2008 Delaware PAL Wildcats 13U April 15, 2008 by Jim Charles
It was a back & forth battle in the second half with both teams leading at various times; the score was tied at 36 with 16 seconds remaining when the Wildcats called their last timeout to set-up a play; the Wildcats in-bound the ball & drove to the basket but the ball was knocked out of bounds; on the in-bound play, Natalie Stella had a challenged shot opportunity that rolled off the rim and was rebounded by the Tarheels; the Tarheels outlet pass was stolen by Maddy Lang at mid-court who passed to Holt Querey along the baseline who then zipped a pass to Natalie Stella under the basket, making the lay-up as time expired to win the game.
I believe that we lost to both the Chester County Wizards & Tarheels by 20+ points last year.

*** The purpose of this page, like the rest of this site, is to promote girls basketball in the State of Delaware. This is hard to do if individual players cannot be singled out. However, I will honor all requests by players or parents to remove their/their daughters' names and/or images from this review. I will also gladly correct any misspelled names, or add names where now I list only a player uniform number. Just email me. *** DelGirlsHoops@aol.comJim Charles |
