Additional:

"I'd like to nominate Angel Henderson as a girls great player of the past.  I don't have all of her stats but I'm sure we can track those down pretty easily.  She was a part of those great matchups between St. E's and Ursuline (she graduated in 2006) and could always be seen diving, driving, and thriving along with Khadijah.  She scored over 1000 points and now has helped to revive women's basketball at Cheyney University."

Henderson was a fantastic point guard that could amass a ton of points herself, yet was generous enough with the assists that other Lady Vikings (like Rushdan, Rutland, Woody, etc.) suffered no shortage of scoring.  She was agile and acrobatic in the extreme.  This profile, it is hoped, will at least in some meaningful way help to give proper credit to Angel Henderson for her important role on a very deep and talent-laden St. Elizabeth's team.  The mark of a great player is when you can give a "yes" answer to the question, "Did she make her teammates better?"  At point, Angel set a very up-tempo pace to each game.  As a teammate, you either learned how to play up to that pace or you rode the bench.  You bet she made her teammates better!

Where Is She Now?
