Making Their NCAA Collegiate
Debut . . .

Amanda Craig (9 points)

Katey Briggs (1 assist)
Both young women played in their first
collegiate game for Stevenson University Saturday, November 15th,
and DGB.com was there! Craig is a St. E's grad while Briggs
hails from Padua. Unfortunately, their team lost to a very
strong Catholic University squad.

About
Our Model:
Colleen Kirkwood attends Ursuline Academy. To maintain
the integrity of the iPOW Award (as well as our year-end
individual awards), our spokesmodel could not be a
basketball player. Colleen does, however, play volleyball.
While not a hoops star
herself, we feel that Colleen still captures the spirit and look
of girls basketball.

Here we see 4-year old Ellie from Northern California in her DGB.com
t-shirt!

Who We Are
Mission:
-
To become a central online
forum for girls' and women's basketball in Delaware.
-
To provide useful,
informative and entertaining news regarding college, high school, junior
high and CYM teams via first-hand reports submitted by players, coaches,
and/or team managers.
-
Through a comprehensive
classifieds section, to be a place where committed, competitive players can
get information on off-season opportunities, such as AAU, AYB, YBOA, and
one-on-one camps and clinics. ...And, through the same classifieds,
players can post their own needs or availability to leagues and teams.
-
To provide a place where site
visitors can submit their own on-topic opinions and articles.
-
To go beyond the usual
November through March scholastic season. With the popularity and
importance of off-season programs (many providing stronger competition than
the scholastic winter season), we will attempt to cover these leagues and
teams as well.
Help Wanted!
