Tierra Greenlea

Hello my name is Tierra Greenlea; I am a 19 year old college freshman enrolled at Delaware Technical & Community College. I have recently graduated from Paul M. Hodgson Vocational Technical High School in 2010. I’ve been playing basketball since the age of 7. I’ve played for numerous leagues such as both winter and spring basketball teams for the Western YMCA. I’ve also played for both Hockessin and Wilmington PAL leagues, Gunning Bedford Middle School and the New Castle County Summer league for high school. I spent my four years at Hodgson, being the manager of the Lady Silver Eagles, where I learned to be a part of not only a team but a family of truly amazing people. Although I was not a player, I still felt as though I was a part of their team. The Players that I have met throughout my four years have made huge impacts on not just who I am but my life. I am a proud individual to have been associated with that team and I would not trade them for any other. Coach Jones and his coaching staff have been outstanding motivational leaders and set great examples for us. They have inspired me never to give up when things become unbearable or tough. They’ve pushed me to become a confident and talented individual.
